Everest Base Camp Trek

Start your adventure with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, one of the most thrilling airstrips in the world. After landing, you begin your trek with a gentle downhill walk through Sherpa villages and beautiful pine forests along the Dudh Koshi River to reach Phakding.

Cross several suspension bridges and pass through Monjo, the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park. After registering, continue on a steep uphill climb to Namche Bazaar, the bustling Sherpa capital with cafés, shops, and mountain views.

To adjust to the altitude, spend a day in Namche. Take a short hike to the Everest View Hotel for breathtaking views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and Lhotse. Visit the Sherpa Museum or enjoy a relaxing day exploring the town.

Walk along scenic ridges and descend through forests before a final steep climb to Tengboche. Visit the famous Tengboche Monastery, set against the dramatic backdrop of Ama Dablam and Everest.

Descend to Deboche and cross the Imja River before ascending gradually to Pangboche and then Dingboche. The landscape changes as you climb higher — more rugged, with less vegetation and stunning alpine views.

Enjoy another rest day to help your body adjust to the altitude. You can hike up to Nagarjun Hill (5,100m) for panoramic views of Makalu, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam, or take it easy and explore the local village.

The trail climbs gradually to Thukla, where you'll pass a memorial site for fallen climbers. Then ascend a steep section to reach Lobuche, a small settlement surrounded by towering peaks.

Start early and trek to Gorakshep, the last outpost before Everest Base Camp. After checking in at your teahouse, head to the legendary base camp. Enjoy your achievement with views of the Khumbu Icefall and surrounding giants before returning to Gorakshep.

Climb to Kala Patthar early for a stunning sunrise over Mount Everest. This is the highest point of your trek and offers the best close-up views. Afterward, descend to Pheriche for the night.

Retrace your steps back through Pangboche, Tengboche, and beautiful rhododendron forests. You’ll notice how much easier it feels descending as you return to the vibrant town of Namche.

Continue descending through familiar trails and villages, crossing suspension bridges and lush valleys, eventually reaching Lukla. Celebrate your successful journey with your team.

Say goodbye to the Khumbu region as you fly back to Kathmandu. Enjoy aerial views of the Himalayas one last time. Once in the city, take a well-deserved rest or explore the vibrant streets of Thamel.
